Summer School French as a Foreign LanguageFrom august to september

The French as a Foreign Language Summer School is co-organized by Toulouse INP and INSA Toulouse.

It is aimed at international students wishing to enroll in an engineering program in France.

Also open to doctoral and post-doctoral students who would like to learn French or improve their French proficiency.

The objective of this intensive course is to strengthen communication skills in French and to allow students to familiarize themselves with French academic methodology and scientific French in order to facilitate their integration as future engineering students in France.

Presentation of French as a Foreign Language (FLE)

The FLE (French as a Foreign Language) Summer School is co-organised by Toulouse INP, INSA Toulouse .

The aim of this immersion course is to reinforce your communication in French and improve your understanding of scientific and technical courses, and practical work in French. The teaching of French is based on interactive teaching approaches and various non-specialised and scientific materials (improving reading, writing and speaking skills in French - specialist lectures).

The Summer School will conclude with an exam on a specific scientific and technical topic.

The Summer School includes several cultural visits to discover Toulouse and the region.

To facilitate the administrative procedures related to your arrival in Toulouse and its region, the Communauté d'Universités et établissements de Toulouse offers you service packages adapted to your needs: the Toul’Box.

The Toul’Box package is include in registration fee: pickup from the train station or airport, assistance with administrative formalities, and help in finding accommodation.

Registration

The registration fee covers tuition fees and cultural visits; students from INSA Toulouse & Toulouse INP partner institutions also benefit from the Toul’Box package (pickup from the train station or airport, assistance with administrative formalities, and help in finding accommodation)

Please note that this fee does not include travel, accommodation, meals and other living expenses.

Program

Intensive french course

60 hours of FLE lessons over three weeks (20 hours per week)

All lessons are taught by certified French teachers. Following a placement test conducted prior to arrival, classes are organized in small groups by proficiency level according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
Students can validate one ECTS credit per week.
